Phase 3 of our nine month festival provides artists with the opportunity to workshop their process in live form through installations and performances hosted by 153 COFFEY, a multidisciplinary, artist-led studio located in Red Hook, New York.

The nine artists will use time as concept and material in actions and ideas emphasizing and expanding upon Care Methodologies in respect of the times and in response to our festival theme: To Stay Alive /| You Must be Live.

May 13 | Special Invitation & Hours

On May 13, Phyllis Akinyi and Caro Acuña-Olvera will hold a closed ceremonial circle for individuals who identify as women, femme, gender non-conforming, non-binary, and/or trans. BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, Person of Color) individuals are especially encouraged to attend. Together, the circle will examine, face, and move toward releasing personal and collective trauma and grief.

We invite you to bring a photo or an artifact from a beloved female entity you'd like to honor and ask that you arrive between 4-5pm, at which time the doors will close to maintain a private space.

The ceremony will begin at 5pm with no set end time—the artists will guide the group to a conclusion. Please plan to stay for the full duration.

If you would like to attend please email us at

to reserve a spot. Attendance is free.
